Atlanta Braves Click Here started off in Boston, MA in 1871 as The Boston Red Stockings, and it is 1 of 2 of the oldest standing MLB franchises. In 1912, their name was changed to Boston Braves. In 1953, The Boston Braves moved to Milwalkee, WI. Finally in 1966, the Braves were moved to Atlanta where they remain as of 2025.
